Why You Feel Like a Different Person

Hello Reader,

You used to feel like yourself. Confident. Energized. Clear.

And then somewhere along the way — maybe gradually, maybe all at once — you started wondering who this person is and where you went.

The brain fog. The irritability that comes out of nowhere. The anxiety that didn't exist five years ago. The ambition that feels muted. The body that doesn't respond the way it used to.

You're not broken. You're not weak. And you are absolutely not "just stressed."

What you're experiencing is the hormonal shift of perimenopause or menopause — and it rewires nearly everything. Estrogen and progesterone don't just affect your cycle. They affect your brain, your mood, your memory, your sleep, your confidence, your sense of self.

So when women tell me "I don't feel like me anymore" — I believe them. Because hormonally, neurologically, things have changed.

But here's what I want you to know:

This is not the end of who you are. It's a transition — and transitions have exits. And there is such goodness at the end.

The women I work with come in feeling like strangers in their own lives. They leave knowing exactly who they are in this season — and what they need to thrive in it.

If you're in that "I don't feel like me" place right now, I'd love to talk. Reply to this email or book a call here and let's figure out what's going on together.

You are still you. Let's find her. 🌿

Hello Reader, At some point — and you probably can't pinpoint exactly when — you started adjusting your life to fit your symptoms instead of addressing the symptoms. You stopped raising your hand in meetings because the brain fog makes you feel less sharp. You said no to the trip because you didn't know how you'd feel. You pulled back from the promotion because you're not sure you have the bandwidth. You got quieter. More careful. More small. And it felt like self-protection. Like being...

Hello Reader, Burnout says: I need a break. The wrong chapter says: I need a different life. Both feel exhausting. Both make you want to disappear for a while. But the fixes are completely different and confusing one for the other is one of the most expensive mistakes I see women make. Here's how to tell them apart: It's probably burnout if: You used to love this work (or life) and can imagine loving it again Rest and recovery actually help, even a little The exhaustion is situational — a bad...

Hello Reader, Quick question: have you ever felt like you're doing everything right: eating well, working out, trying to take care of yourself and your body is just not cooperating? Hot flashes that won't quit. Brain fog that makes you feel like a stranger in your own head. Sleep that disappears at 2am and doesn't come back. I've been there. And what I finally learned changed everything. I just published a new blog that breaks down what's actually driving these symptoms and the simple,...
