⚡ You're not falling apart. You're wired differently.

Hello Reader,

Quick question: ever feel sharp, confident, unstoppable one week then two weeks later you can't find a clear thought in your own head?

If you've ever quietly wondered what's wrong with you...nothing is. That's not a flaw. That's a brilliant design.

As I worked with my clients, went through my own experiences, and dug into the research, the same words kept coming up: hormones, blood sugar, insulin, food. So I went back to school and became a Certified Metabolic Health Coach. Hormones were only half the story.

Here's what stopped me cold: the 3pm crash. The fatigue that won't quit. The brain fog that wasn't there five years ago. That's not aging. That's blood sugar swings stacking on hormonal shifts. These are two systems nobody ever taught us to read together.

And here's the piece that ties it together: the advice you've been handed your whole working life was written for a body that isn't yours.

The male body runs on a 24-hour hormonal cycle. (Explains a lot, right?) Guess what workplaces, calendars, and productivity advice were built around? 9-to-5. Consistency is king. Show up the same, every single day.

But your body runs on a roughly month-long cycle. Across it, your brain chemistry, energy, confidence, and risk tolerance shift — for real. I break it into four chapters:

⚡ Spark — estrogen rising. Sharper. More verbal. Bolder. Your window for new ideas and big asks.

☀️ Shine — confidence peaks around ovulation. Your most persuasive self. Negotiate. Perform. Close.

✅ Build — progesterone takes over. Focus. Follow-through. The deep work nobody claps for, like spreadsheets, edits, etc., but that must get done.

🌙 Reset — pre-period, you turn inward. Your sharpest strategy. Your clearest boundaries.

Four chapters. Four different superpowers. One system that was never broken — it was just never explained to us.

Postmenopausal? You've graduated out of the monthly swing. Your hormones have settled. That doesn't mean you've aged out of this. It means your chapter is a life chapter now, not a monthly one. I'm living mine.

Some of my postmenopausal clients borrow their daily circadian rhythm (sleep, morning light) or the lunar cycle; others just build one daily. The point was never the hormones. It was permission to have seasons instead of flat sameness.

Once you know your chapter, you stop leaving big decisions to chance. You start choosing your moment — on purpose.

This isn't an excuse. It's a strategy. It's the same strategy athletes use for power days, performance days, training days, and recovery days.

I spent thirty years forcing flat sameness. Now I plan around Spark and Shine. I protect Build and Reset. I'm not weaker for it. I'm sharper. And a lot less exhausted.

Before you close this email: pick one thing you've been putting off. A conversation. A decision. An ask. Stop asking "when do I have time?" Start asking: "which week is this actually built for?"

You are not falling apart in your forties, fifties, and beyond. You are not too emotional, too inconsistent, too much.

You are wired — brilliantly — to win, in a rhythm nobody ever taught you to read.

I hope today's the day you start reading it.

Bubbles Up!

Hello Reader, Quick catch-up if you missed my last email: men run on a tidy 24-hour hormonal cycle. That’s why the world built a 9-to-5 and called it “normal.” We run on a 4-week cycle with four completely different chapters — honestly, ours is the more impressive system. Same-day rerun versus an actual story with four acts. It’s just not built for showing up identical every single Tuesday. (If consistency advice never quite worked for you, now you know who it was written for.) Okay, here’s...

Hello Reader, Last week we passed the fall equinox, one of just two days a year when day and night are nearly equal. I love that nature hands us a built-in reminder to pause and ask: What's in balance in my life right now? And what's asking for a little more attention? As the days get shorter, it's the perfect season to tune in to your energy, your body, your brain, and your next chapter. That's exactly what my October events are all about. 🍁 🎙️ MILLION WOMEN RISING WISDOM EXCHANGE® | Oct 1–2...

Hello Reader, Here's something I didn't expect when I started my health journey: the biggest factor in whether I stuck with it wasn't discipline. It was who was doing it with me. When I started fasting and quit drinking, I assumed it would be a solo thing — just me, an app, and a lot of willpower. But the weeks I actually stayed consistent? Those were the weeks I had someone to text "I'm struggling today" or "17 hours down, let's go." Accountability didn't make it easier because it added...
