Hello Reader, It was one of those perfect fall days, crisp air and golden leaves, and the café I stepped into was buzzing. Nearly every table was filled with women. Laughing, leaning in, talking with their hands. And then I noticed the two women near the window. One of them was talking softly, and I could see tears starting to form in her eyes. Her friend didn't interrupt or rush to fix it. She just leaned forward and took her hand. That was it. And it was everything. I carried that moment with me into yesterday's Women in Leadership conference. As one of the planners and speakers, I got a front-row seat. It was a packed house. Women arrived early, and the room was full of smiles, energy, and genuine support for one another. All day, I watched women: 💛 Share real challenges, not just the polished highlights 🎉 Celebrate each other's successes without a hint of competition 🤝 Offer a name, a resource, a "call me, I've been there" 🌱 Show the kind of vulnerability that takes real courage One woman told me that hearing several of us talk about our career paths and pivots was encouraging, because she's considering a pivot of her own right now. I love that our winding roads can light the way for someone else. 🛤️ In my talk, I shared something most leadership training skips: women have a real, predictable rhythm running underneath our energy, focus, and mood, through our cycles and later the menopause transition. Naming it isn't an excuse or a liability. It's information, just like knowing which hour of the day you do your best thinking. Afterward, so many women told me this was something they'd never known or thought about, and that they want to advocate for more openness and make shifts in their own companies. That's exactly the ripple I hoped for. 🌊 Here's what I know after 30+ years in corporate life and this beautiful second chapter: none of us does this alone. The strongest women I know aren't the ones who never stumble. They're the ones who let someone hold their hand when they do, and who reach across the table when it's their turn. And I've felt that hand-hold myself lately. 🙏 A heartfelt thank you to every woman who chose to become a practice client or shared it. Because of you, more women are getting support they might not have found otherwise, and I'm growing as a coach. That's what it looks like when we lift each other up, and it helps all of us. So here's my ask for you today 👉 reach out to a friend. Send the text you've been meaning to send. Make the call. Set the coffee date. You don't need a reason beyond "I was thinking of you." And if you're the one who needs the hand-hold right now? Reach out anyway. That takes courage too. Bubbles Up! P.S. Hit reply and tell me who you reached out to. I'd love to hear it. 💌 |

Hello Reader, BOO! 👻 Have you ever walked into a room and forgotten why you were there? Woken up at 3:17 AM, wide awake and ready to solve problems that don't actually exist? Welcome to the haunted house of midlife! 🎃 Between the brain fog, disappearing sleep, mysterious cravings, and a metabolism that seems to have changed the locks, being a woman over 40 can feel like someone cast a spell on your body. Hello Reader, Quick catch-up if you missed my last email: men run on a tidy 24-hour hormonal cycle. That’s why the world built a 9-to-5 and called it “normal.” We run on a 4-week cycle with four completely different chapters — honestly, ours is the more impressive system. Same-day rerun versus an actual story with four acts. It’s just not built for showing up identical every single Tuesday. (If consistency advice never quite worked for you, now you know who it was written for.) Okay, here’s...
Hello Reader, Quick question: ever feel sharp, confident, unstoppable one week then two weeks later you can't find a clear thought in your own head? If you've ever quietly wondered what's wrong with you...nothing is. That's not a flaw. That's a brilliant design. As I worked with my clients, went through my own experiences, and dug into the research, the same words kept coming up: hormones, blood sugar, insulin, food. So I went back to school and became a Certified Metabolic Health Coach....
